We are a proud non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to revitalizing the heart of Covington through economic development, historic preservation, and community engagement. As a part of the Kentucky Main Street Program and the National Main Street Program, we draw upon a proven framework that fosters locally-driven prosperity in downtown communities.
Our Purpose
At Renaissance Covington, we believe that the strength of a community lies in its core. Downtown Covington is more than just a business district—it’s a reflection of our city’s history, diversity, and bold entrepreneurial spirit. Our mission is to amplify the vibrancy of Covington’s evolving community by nurturing a thriving business district that values creativity, inclusivity, and innovation.
Our Boundaries
Downtown Covington’s Central Business District spans over 20 blocks, bordered by:
- E 11th Street to the South
- The rail line to the West
- Greenup Street to the East
- E 3rd Street to the North
This area is home to over 250 businesses and is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a testament to its rich history and cultural significance.
